Elsie Mae Parsons, age 81, of Ambrosius Road, New Albany, Pa., passed away unexpectedly at her home in Wilmot, Bradford County, Pa. on Monday afternoon, Jan. 28, 2013.
She was born in Towanda, Pa. on July 28, 1931, the daughter of the late Robert and Nancy Addy Parsons Sr.
Elsie was employed as a presser at many dress factories in the area, including the Stevensville Dress Factory, Mindy Sue Dress Factory in Laceyville, Pa. and the Meshoppen Dress Factory.
In her spare time she enjoyed crafts, embroidery, knitting with her family and friends, and tending and growing many types of flowers, and spent countless hours, watching and tending to her tropical fish. Elsie, along with her mother, owned and operated a ceramic shop.
Elsie is survived by her brother and his wife Wayne and Patricia Parsons; and her sister-in-law, Theresa Parsons, all of Wilmot, Pa. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers William Baker, Thomas Parsons Robert Parsons Jr.
With abiding with Elsie's wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Private memorial services will be held at a later date at the convenience of her family. Interment will be in the Wysox Cemetery.
Memorial gifts, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Dushore Ambulance Assoc., BOF, Dushore, PA 18614.
Arrangements were made through the Sheldon Funeral Homes, Main Street, Laceyville, Pa.

What a "Reunion" it had to have been when she was reunited with her loved ones in Heaven!! Her spirit will forever be here with her loved ones in every bright shining star & every beautiful,colorful rainbow & the clouds & the sun & in all that you say & do as her heritage will always remain with you.Elsie was a sweet lady & certainly will be missed.
