Alberta Stapleton Obituary
Melbourne, FL
Alberta I. Stapleton, 86, of Melbourne died Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in a local nursing home. A native of York, PA, she came to the Eau Gallie in August, 1958. Alberta had been a kindergarten teacher at Meadowlane for many years before becoming a technician for Harris Corporation and worked in several areas before her retirement. She enjoyed reading and doing ceramics.
Preceded in death by a daughter: Anita; she is survived by her husband of 63 years: Bill; son: Smokey (Melinda) of W. Melbourne; daughter: Donna (Rich) Karolick of Palm Bay; sister: Ruth Gerber; grandchildren: Emilee (Eddie) Boyd, Courtney Karolick, Adam (Teea) Karolick, Erin (Corick) Allison, Amanda Stapleton, Shane Tait; great-grandchildren: Natalee Boyd, Kaitlyn Boyd, and Kendyl Allison.
Friends may call at the Fountainhead Funeral Chapel Monday, March 3, from 6:00PM until 7:00PM. A memorial service will begin at 7:00PM. Alberta will be interred in Fountainhead Memorial Park at a later date. Fountainhead Funeral Home WWW.FOUNTAINHEADFUNERALHOME.COM is in charge of services.
