Always steady, "Woody" was a real shipbuilder who was at the top of the list when then the best were being discussed. Not only did we enjoy working with him, we enjoyed knowing Bill Wood and are better for it. My sympathy to all at his passing.

Bill Wood was a competent and respected supervisor. He quietly helped crew members when needed and they were intensely loyal to him. He was a good and decent man.
