I was shocked to read about Steve's passing. I knew him years ago through my ex-husband, Ed Jarvis, when they worked at Robertson Paper Box. I just recently moved back to Ct. or I would have attended his memorial. My heart goes out to his family. He was one in a million. Deborah Jarvis Beckwith.

Steve--the world's gonna miss you terribly, thanks for your humor and musical talent, you were a good friend for life kind of guy, rare!

The first time I met Steve was back in 79-80. I use to go to BaBa's and watch different bands play. This one night i saw the Reducers play for the first time. I couldn't believe my ears. This bass playing was like nothing i had ever heard before in my life. I just had to talk to him. Well besides his talent what stood out was what a wonderfully kind and fun person he was. He loved his fans and loved what he did. I have since been to countless Reducer shows. I will miss Steve. His music will live on forever. But more importantly than that, my heart goes out to his entire family. Their loss can never be measured. My deepest sympathy to you all.
