Dear Kate and Kelly family, I am so sorry for your loss, and humbly apologize for not making it to Mystic on Saturday. I regret never having met your father. He was obviously an exceptional wit, scholar and family man. My deepest sympathies are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Kelly (aka Hollywood) was a pleasant addition to my day when he "visited" the wound center. I truly enjoyed his company. He will be greatly missed. My heartfelt sympathy to all of his family.

You were a philosophical gentleman, Uncle Bill. Your wealth of knowledge and trivia would leave us laughing, contemplating and reflecting: no matter the subject. We will always cherish your wit and endless information of the NY Yankees.

You will be greatly missed Uncle Bill. Your intelligence and humor was second to none. Enjoy your journey now with Rose, Roscoe and the other astral travelers.

Mr. Kelly was such an amazing man. This is such a loss, and my heart goes out to his family. I had the pleasure of spending time with William over the past year, and though his health was fading, his personality never dimmed, and he always had some joke up his sleeve to make me laugh. I'll miss you William "Hollywood" Kelly <3
