I met Carrie when I came to work at the Corporate office for Desert Resort Managment. She befriended me immediately and we became lunch buddies along with our co-worker Cooper Emerson. Carrie and I loved wearing colorful clothes and were always complimenting each other on what we were wearing.
During our conversations at lunch I came to know Carrie as a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her husband Brian, son Jason, daughter Zaundra and her grandchildren meant everything to her. She spoke of how she and Brian had met in college and she knew he was the one, although their lives took seperate paths for awhile they eventually found each other again. She was very proud of the accomplishments that both Jason and Zaundra had achieved. Her face would glow when she spoke of her family and she would have a big smile on her face.
My dear Carrie I will miss you so very much. Your passing reminds me of how fragile life is and how fleeting. I will always remember your smiling face and your laughter. I pray that when I cross over you will run to meet me at the gate and we will wear bright colors in heaven.
