When George was Director of Pupil Personal in Highland Park, Michigan, his intelligence, kindness and compassion inspired me in my own professional development. George, Anabel, John, David and Sarah made their impact on the local schools, and I offer my sincere condolences.

My sincerest condolences to the Hallock family. Although I knew George only briefly, he created an indelible impression. So positive and delighted by everything in his life.
We become buddies at the Carleton reunion last year, and by the end, our whole class had adopted him. What a remarkable man and wonderful life. Will never forget the standing O he got in the chapel from all of the assembled alumni & faculty. No one had greater celebrity status that weekend!
He will be missed!

My wife met George at the 2012 Carleton College reunion; apparently, George was the hit of the entire reunion. We made a point of meeting him while in Palm Desert for the USTA Nationals in October 2012; a delightful, remarkable man. We are very sad to learn of his passing.

George was my first "boss" in Bloomfield Hills. He was a generous, wise, and kind man. These qualities combined with his humor made life and learning a joy. I was fortunate to know him for more than 40 years. We shared real and virtual time together. I will miss him so very much, but he will always be with me in my heart. A fine man and a great and good man.

It is such a privilege to have known George. My heart goes out to Kathi and Larry and all of the Hallock family. Hugs, Susan Parsons
