i met mr. montoya late in his life a few months after my father past. for some time i've known a few immediate family members but not the"MAN" himself. that i will regret. growing with legend and history, sadly for many of us, is not a experience. and now it is gone. my condolences of course to the family, but i will envy what they had while he lived.
Our condolences and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
My wonderful and loving grandfather, I miss you so very much! I'm grateful for all the love, laughter and the many years we were able to spend together. I cherish every memory and keep you in my heart forever and always until we meet again. Love you grandpa!
My cousin Sam was more like an uncle to pray for and admire during the war. He like his Dad, uncle Art, were models for our large family in their patriotism and work ethic. For all he did, he remained a quiet, humble man who deserves our thanks and fond memories. My heartfelt condolences to Lucy and the family especially my friend and cousin Artie.

To My Nina,Uncle Art, Aunt Dolores,Tianna
I am so sorry for OUR loss of a great man. He truly was a one of a kind. I feel very very proud to be his Goddaughter and niece. I have so many found and wonderful memories of him. My Nino was and is the world to me. He always gave me great advise when asked and always had good humor. I am so glad that I was able to be with him at his time and I know that when he took that Train Ride he was not alone. There was Pee Wee,Cassy, Peggy, Uncle Albino, Aunt Lilly and Grandma and Grandpa to greet him. I am so thankful to have had my Nino with me my whole life, and knowing that I brought him joy is a Blessing for me.
I love you Nino, Now go on you new adventure and we will meet again.
Our deepest condolences to the family.
