My condolences to the Pytel Family. I remember visiting your home in Monrovia with my brother Chuck McCallum and being in awe of you all! I did not know Mike was only 9 days older than me. You all honor his memory with your comments.

Grandpa.. Grandpa Grandma won't let me leave the table unless I finished all my food.
I ate everything I like but, Grandma still insisted to put all the things I don't like. I can still hear him saying "Norma" then I run to my room. My Grandma screaming "Jacob". My problem was solved my gramps let me slide,I mean he was sick of seeing me sleeping at the dinner table . My Grandma wouldn't allow me to leave unless all of it was gone, all the food on my plate that is.
Many incidences occurred.
I remembered when before he moved to pinetop we would drive up their (I hated that drive)my Grandma Norma my brothers and I would have fun .we stop at little shops to look at Indian stuff for Norma..
On our journey we look down from the mountains we just drove up the view was awesome and I got excited to throw rocks off it and I miss all the time when I was young you would take the time to explain the things a dad would do. You taught me a lot from working with my hands in the shed in pinetop to want me to work hard if I want something.
I thank you Jesus for giving me a man like mike Pytel as a grandpa to help me understand good work ethic .I miss and love you

Your grandson Jacob Barron
