The Beauty Within Us All
We are all born with beauty inside us. Beauty that waits to be nourished so it can grow. Sadly, more often then not, this beauty is taken from us. When it is, we attempt to recover it with surgery or by painting our faces. None of this can bring it back. There are those that, despite it all, maintain this beauty and it grows so intense that all those touched but it can not help but to feel it deep in their heart, their soul, their entire being. Here it will always remain, even after the person has left this world, even if it is far to early for them to go. One such person has recently passed from this life to leukemia. She touched all those she came in contact with, with a light and beauty that very few possess. She will be deep in my heart and soul until the day I pass and I can see her again. I hope my light and beauty gives the same joy to others that hers did, even after I am gone.
To my very dear friend forever, CatsSkull(Michelle). You are a light the world will be less brighter without. Until we meet again, blessed be my friend. And please, try to talk to me when I am not sleeping or near sleep. I love you and miss you.
To all who are reading this, do not give up on your beauty and your light. It is always there within all of us. For your sake, and the sake of those around you, nourish it and let it grow. Embrace life for all it's wonders, even when it is the hardest to bare.

Michelle unfortunately lost her hearing in both ears due to a relatively rare and tragic disease. She and her mother sought treatment at our clinic, and Michelle ultimately recieved an innovative biomedical device called the auditory brainstem implant (ABI) that restored some of her hearing. It was our pleasure to work with Michelle. Because of her and others faithful participation in our program, very young children born without hearing nerves are now also able to hear with the ABI. Michelle gave a gift that will live on through the ages.

Marlene, I wanted to speak this round about for your emotional stabilty. Normally, I have unspoken actions. However, you will moan and grieve in your own comfort capacity of stabilty regardless, if you or your body is aware. It's like a state of shock and a relationship disrupted. Michelle is with you in a shape or form. Please, stay alert on your journey with (not without) her, but do not push yourself. You keep pleasant and please note, people do love (I wouldn't state the word care, it would an inappropriate terminology) even if there is no tongue of voice. You keep content with a postive content of mind and yes stay positive. I would state do not rush into anything, you and your body is at a shock and gradual within (1)-(2) year(s) you should be solid and with an aware of a grasp alert of the journey with Michelle and her departure. I state that, you and your stability is and comes first. You do not need a world of influences besides the hand of (3)-(5) you can hold close. If you need time alone, I advise it and within the (1)-(2) you will visual see with an alert and thank the one(s) with appreciation of the suggestion. God is with you and all around you, smear ontiment and see? Yes, stay content and postive with an alert. I shall be having you within the thought. God bless you and those close. Best, Charlene

Marlene and Michelle,
I am so happy that we connected on the NF pen pal site years ago. We were given a special child that only our creator knew we could take care of in a way that they needed. Even though we have yet to meet in person, our children Michelle and Micah are now together in their new life with family and friends that were part of their lives here on earth. We have to believe we will be together again. Even though they aren't here physical with us, they are still with us, their spirit lives on and they will send us messages to let us know they are with us. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong. Our children were fighters and they are ok. Love, Cheryl Brittain, Micah Ayala.
