One of the best persons I have ever known; always had a special place in my heart for Sweet Old Bob; enjoyed many years knowing him at the City of Yuma. Enjoy your flight Bob.

My father, Bob Norton, and our family loved Yuma and it's people. We lived in 20 different places during my first 18 years and Yuma was my favorite as well as my father. He retired from the Marine Corps in Yuma and worked for the city of Yuma during the next 20 years. Prior to his death, he had chosen to have his memorial service at MCAS Yuma. Dad was the CO of the air station in the late 70's and enjoyed his subsequent years in Yuma until he moved to Palm Springs to be with Connie. If you worked or knew my father, please come to his memorial service on October 19th. It will be a special event. Please call the base ahead of time for a security clearance to be allowed on base for the service. A reception will follow at the Officer's Club.

We always enjoyed those weekend dates for brunch and chats. It was an honor to know a true gentleman.
