Chat and Nat were the team that brought families together at dinner time. They will always be a team in our hearts. Our prayers go out for Nat and his 3 daughters; may they find peace now that Chet has found peace. He will live forever in our memories.

Thank you for the many years of watching you and Natalie deliver the news after a hard day at work. You were the ying and yang and back then the world made sense. You will be missed. My deepest sympathies to your loving family.

Watching Chet and Nat deliver the news was so comforting and reassuring. No matter what was happening, they were the constants and could disseminate the news with confidence and clarity.

He was a great guy and a one of a kind broadcast journalist. My sincerest condolences to his family.

My first (news) Floor Director job (1966) was running the teleprompter and cueing Chet weekdays on Newsday at 1PM on WTOP-TV, Washington, DC.
I remember when he told me he was leaving the station...that he was hired at WCBS-TV in New York.
You could tell then that he was a first-rate talent (with class)and was always well-liked by all who knew him.

I want to give my sincere condolences to the curtis family. We will miss your dad very much. He was a great reporter and anchor man who always gave the news in such a delicate way as if he was telling a story. I also enjoyed seeing Natalie and chet helping out with the muscular dystrophy telethon and how friendly he made people feel. We will miss chet curtis. Rest in peace.
