I am so very sorry to hear of Travis' passing. I spoke with him at Easter and he told me that he was taking college-prep courses. I was very impressed with him and, as an old school counselor, could see the promise in this kind young man.
May the Lord bless you and comfort you in this extreme hour of need. My wife, Jeanne, joins me in expressing our sorrow.
Travis' grandmother, Cheri, and I grew up together, and my wife and I were so happy when she married Eddy.

I just learned of Travis's passing today from a friend we've known from Scouts for a long time! I was so sad to hear this news! I have fond memories of all your boys and family! Especially from campouts, I do recall Travis being helpful and having a wonderful sense of humor! I am not sure if you remember us,but know that my heart was aching today when I heard about Travis!

May you, Angela, Tyler and Trey find some peace and comfort during this difficult time through the outpouring of prayers and well wishes from family and friends. You have been so wonderful to Matt as he has joined Troop 12 for Philmont preparations that I know your caring, character, and commitment are only a small testament to the kind of father and role model you must have been to Travis. Although we didn't really know him, we are sure he was a shining example of you and Angela's love. Our prayers are with your whole family.

My family sends our deepest sympathy and hope you will find peace and understanding through this difficult time. Travis was Justin's first childhood friend and we will always have very fond memories of him. We enjoyed his curiousity about the world and the people around him. He always smiled and had something interesting to say. His caring spirit was ever present and we are all thankful to have known him as a friend and neighbor. And we are all saddened by his passing. He will be greatly missed.
To the Kleppe family, my heart breaks for your loss! Travis you were a remarkable young man! As a father of 2 that were brand new to scouting I found myself overwhelmed with things I needed to do to get both of my boys caught up to where they needed to be, with great character, pride, and leadership you took it upon yourself to help me and my boys with everything we needed, you made us feel welcome and always reassured me that it would be okay and we were doing great. I have never met such a young man with such confidence! Not only the scouting community but the world as well lost a very special person and an extremely kind soul! Me and my boys thank you, Brad Ceder Christian Johnson Jamie Tague
I did not know Travis but my sons remember him from summer camp and Ordeal. We were all saddened to hear of your loss. Our prayers are with you.
Travis you were such a remarkable young man. I have an emptiness inside of me now. You had such character for a young man your age. You had a unique sense of humor. Ive cried missing you and smiled remembering you. I enjoyed having you as a Scout in Troop 12 and as a neighbor. You lived the Scout Law in your daily walk through life. I pray that the impact you had on those that knew you well and the lives that you touched will be remembered in the years to come. I pray that your family finds a Peace and understanding and that Christ wil continue to hold them and keep them in His loving embrace. You leave behind a Legacy of Kindness and Love. I will miss you as a neighbor and mostly as a friend.
Love to you and your family

Travis, we´ll always remember you in Lost Pines, walking round with a hint of a smile on your face as if you had a joke ready to spring out. We remember you as a 13 year old CIT and watched you move through so many jobs always able, always self-assured. We´ll miss you, you´ll always be part of Lost Pines for us.
