Kathryn E. White
Kathryn E. White (Boyce), age 92, born and raised in Homer Township, lifelong Lockport resident passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.
Beloved wife of the late Glenn F. White; loving mother of Robert (Robin) White; cherished grandmother of Robert (Marcia) White and Christopher (Stefani) White; and great-grandmother of Graham and Declan White.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joshua and Mary Agnes Boyce (Donahue); her siblings, Jerome (late Lois, late June) Boyce, Elva Boyce, Gordon (late Clara, late Agnes) Boyce, Margaret (late Daniel) McGuire, Leonard Boyce, Mary (late Stanley) Jungles, George (Norma) Boyce, and Robert (late Ann) Boyce; and one great-granddaughter, Sienna White.
Kathryn enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family. She was an avid gardener and Chicago Cubs fan. She enjoyed yearly fishing trips with Glenn to Minnesota along with traveling and exploring the rest of the country.
The family would like to extend a special Thank-you to Kathryn's caregivers at Willow Falls in Crest Hill and to Joliet Area Community Hospice for exceptional care.
The family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 South Hamilton St., Lockport, IL 60441 on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary's Foundation for Faith, 303 W. St. Mary's Street, Minooka, IL 60467 or Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Waterstone Circle, Joliet, IL 60435 would be appreciated.

To the Family of Kathryn White, We live 2 1/2 hours away from Bob & Robin White, and have been friends with them for 35 years, although we are apart, we feel your pain in your hearts with the loss of your mother. We wish you the best in your healing process, and know that the place that she has in Heaven, will be the best place to be, Once we leave. Be happy knowing that she will be seeing loved ones she never met before within the house of the Lord. Thinking of you. Kevin & Kathy Underwood.....
