Mother and Grandmother
Mary K. Tailor passed away on August 7, 2013, two days after her 91st birthday. She was the widow of Kalman K. Tailor.
Born in Kikinda, Yugoslavia, she emigrated to the US with her two sons in 1960 to be with her husband, who escaped communism four years earlier, and settled in Norwalk. After years of working in several manufacturing plants, she helped Kalman in his tailor shop in Darien. Upon their retirement, they became snowbirds and bought a condo in Dania, FL and enjoyed a very active social life.
Mary is survived by her two sons, Laslo and his wife Claudia and Kal, Jr. and his wife Olga and grandchildren Kirk, Samantha and her husband Nicholas Hudson, Kari, Ashley and Lauren and two great grandchildren.
Interment will be at the discretion of the family.
