I imagine that no mere human words can remedy what those who are affected by today's events are feeling at this moment. May prayers from around the world continually flood the gates of heaven on their behalf. May every parent use this event to connect with their children to bond and address the issues of safety. May the angels of heaven minister to us all in the midst of this tragedy. It was my plan to attend a candlelight event in Baltimore to honor those who have passed in 2012, but health issues kept me close to home instead. But, I find from experience that it is so important to grieve in a healthy manner and also to seek the solace of a loving heavenly father who can mend every broken piece in our lives and rekindle our hope and trust in Him even after we feel like all hope is gone. Yes, it will take time, but leaning on the ever lasting arm of our Lord and Savior will see us through to healing and wholeness. May we all receive the love and peace of Christ this very moment like never before. May our President and the first family remember that they are just as human as the people in the country they lead and their display of emotions are acceptable and appropriate. Love to all. Amen.
