Louis Fedrizzi died as the richest man I know. He lived rich in family, rich in friends, rich in faith, rich in his roots, and rich in life. There is not a person who knows him who doesn't immediately smile when they bring him to mind. Being his daughter is law is one of my greatest joys.

He was an absolute gentleman. He was smart, strong, hardworking, proud, and passionate. He wasn't afraid to cry. He danced, he laughed, he told stories, and was never afraid to try something new. He shared himself with you immediately upon meeting him and made you feel comfortable.

For the last 19 years, I have witnessed him teaching his grandsons hardwork, compassion, respect, and integrity. He could be stern and kind in the same breathe. Louie was a teacher of life. He beat them in cards, so they would learn how to play the game...to win. There is nothing like good competition. He taught them how to play golf, fish and hunt with integrity and for the sp...ort of the game. He embraced everything that came his way, the good and the bad.

Louie lived the width of his life and left nothing on the table. He lived a long full life, though we are all sad we didn't have just a little more time with him. I feel the pain in Matt's heart for having lost his father, yet I see in his eyes how proud he is to be his son.

He died with so much of his family at his side, in a room filled with love, and compassion. For those who could not be physically there with him he knew they had him deep in their prayers.

We are all richer for having known him. Thank you for sharing your life with us Louie, until we meet again. Thanks Kiddo thanks....
