I met Charlie in Charleston, SC about 18 years ago. He was one of the most beautiful people I've ever known. I cannot believe he's gone . . . too early! But we'll all be together in Heaven one day. Gynger Hunter

Rest in Peace Charlie, as Geogre Carlin said it 's been one hell of a ride.

Oh, Charlie, we loved you so much. We are missing you, already, and will forever more. The Joy in all of this, is of course, your presence in God's everlasting Heavenly home. m/m

I know when Charlie arrived at the entrance to heaven, he was asked two questions. "Have you found joy in your life?" "Has your life brought joy to others?" The answer to both I am sure, was a resounding yes! Charlie taught my brother and I how to turtle-dove hunt in our early childhood. I wish I had stayed in touch over the past 38(+) years, and shared with him the journey which has shaped my life from being a youngster, to becoming a husband, and a father. My family and I were fortunate to see him 9 years ago and speak with him on the phone about tractors. I'll always have the memories of Charlie and the joy he brought to my childhood and others!
