On this third anniversary of Alvin's passing I would like to extend my thoughts and prayers to your family. Alvin will be greatly missed. He had a vision in high school about being the first black president and I believe he could've done it. He was a good friend. Our loss is heavens gain.

I am so sorry for your loss Eva. I just heard about his passing which is a shock to me. In school he and I would talk about your futures beyond the halls of Northwest. We were in Mr Norfleets class when he told me " He would be the first black president. I never doubted that. I have thought about him many times and wondered what ever happened to him. I know he must of lead a great life because he was a special person in deed. I will miss my dear friend. I hope that you find peace in his loving memory. Diana Rhoades Ayers .........NC
