Each day that goes by since you left you are always thought of. I know you are watching over us and being your silly self. The weekend we had Daryl's surprise birthday all the kids came in. We knew you were with us in spirit. You wouldn't stop playing with the washer and dryer setting them off :) I know you had a smile on your face and laughing because you always did enjoy playing jokes on us. Your grandsons Preston and Jacob were getting in your shower and Jacob said, ok grandpa don't scare me now lol. We love and miss you every day.

As a fellow veteran of Frank Thompson at the 21st Signal Group, Nha Trang, South Vietnam, I extend deepest sympathy to Sergeant First Class Thompson's family and friends. Sgt. Thompson was well respected by his fellow soldiers back in the mid-1960s. Sgt. Thompson was with the original unit that sailed to Vietnam in May of 1966. May he rest in peace and his memories life with us for the rest of our lives. A picture is attached of Frank and one of his fellow veterans from 1966.

Grandpa, I'm sorry I wasn't able to attend your memorial. I'm sure it was amazing with the 21 gun salute and all of the family. I miss you so much and will always carry you with me in my heart. Love you always and forever, Crystal
