Penny & Mark, When I left that funeral home yesterday, I thought my heart would burst with grief. Shirley meant so much to so many, as was evident in the faces of everyone there. I have thought of so many wonderful times with her at the diner. She was definitely one of a kind and will live in our hearts forever. If there is any one thing I can say I am grateful for, it is the priviledge of knowing her and knowing that she is now up there on my side. Shirley, I love you and you will never be forgotten as long as I'm alive. You suffered and fought the good fight here on this earth and I have no doubt that you are playing that harp and dancing on streets of gold now. Watch over us down here as we continue to struggle in this old world and jerk a knot in our butts from time to time if we need it. LOL I love you always dear friend!
