Betty introduced me to Precepts. It was many years ago when she first approached me about becoming a facilitator. She never gave up on me and I eventually was blessed to be called by God to become a facilitater for Precepts. Her love for Jesus was obvious and passionate. I will truly miss her and I know the ladies in her class will missed her immensely. What a blessing it was to have had her in my life and what a great legacy she left the world.

Mrs. Betty was one of Gods special blessings in my life. I can truly say she was a person who loved the Lord with all her heart, mind, soul and strength. I dont know many people 90 years old who would stand and teach Gods work with passion and enthusiasm for one hour in the morning, and then return eager to stand and share again for an hour the same evening. Bettys love for Gods word was one of the greatest gifts she shared with me. I am reminded of Psalms 119:15-16, l will mediate on Your precepts and regard Your ways. I shall delight in Your statutes; I shall not forget Your word. I pray I will have the delight in Gods Holy Word and the passion to read, meditate on, study, put into practice, and share Gods word like Mrs. Betty shared with me.

Betty was such a beautiful and godly woman inside and out. She would light up a room with her sweet smile, and wearing her favorite color pink. I am truly blessed to have known her. She will truly be missed and always in our hearts.
It's never a good-bye for Believers, but "I'll see you in the morning."

I studied Precept with Betty from the first time she led the class at Bell Shoals Baptist Church until early this year (2017). Jesus shone through her face and actions so plainly, and this was apparent even to non-believers who often commented how beautiful she was (even in her 80s and on). Yes she was beautiful but it was the light of Jesus that made her truly beautiful. She was an inspiration to so many of us Precept people and always went beyond what could be expected of her. I remember one incident just a few years ago when she fell just before leaving to teach Precept. But she came anyway, with her shin bruised, raw and bleeding. It must have been very painful but she would never miss a Precept class. Teaching Precept was a great life purpose for her. She taught so many of us not only facts but also how to love the Lord. There must have been great rejoicing in heaven when she showed up there, and she will definitely need help in carrying all her many crowns to Jesus feet. She will be greatly missed. What an honor and joy to have known her. She was greatly loved by all. Olga Finch

What a precious lady. So glad to have known this saint even just a short time at Precept.
