To Pam and girls, Kay and Donna Kay,

We are so very sorry to hear of David's passing.
We have many fond memories of him from Mansfield and visits in Plant City.
You are in our thoughts and prayers .
Love,
Kathleen & Harold Newton

Pam,
I was so saddened to read Diana's email on Friday night. I am so sorry for your loss. I have a picture on my wall of our soccer team that David and I coached at Carter Road many years ago. He and I are standing on opposite sides of the girls and he is smiling that infectious smile he always had. You could not help but smile and give him a hearty handshake when you saw him. He will be missed.

To Pam, Davids Family and Children, I shared his pain during a difficult divorce and shared some first-time experiences after, I sat vigil with him for his knighting and was his honorary best man, I was most honored when he chose me as first squire. I have never heard anyone say an unkind word about Taka. He was a man of his word, principles and honor. Tho I stepped away from the SCA, he was always thought of and spoke of fondly in my journey. As a son, father, husband have comfort and pride, he was a great yet humble man. Mace, IOMC. Ld. Richard of Wykham

There are no words to truly describe the man we knew. He lived by the chivalric code. He was a man who touched more people than he even knew. He will always be remembered as long as we tell Taka stores. My deepest sympathies go out to all of his family and friends. He will probably be missed more than any person I have ever known. Mar
