We cry for your family and loved ones...we cry for the city of Lakeland. We have lost a good man. May your journey be safe and your family be given strength. God Bless.
December 28, 2011
I want to express my Condolences to Crispin Family as well as the Lakeland Police Department, I am praying that you all find the Strength to carry on and Always remember that Arnulfo will Always be a part of your Lives and you will Forever carry him in your Hearts. I can say that I had the Honor of meeting Arnulfo two days prior to that horrible night when he responded to a call at my house and he was one of the first responders and was very good at what he was doing and even had that smile on his face and was joking with us asking if we were awake yet because it was 3:00 am,He made you feel comfortable and I can actually say I know what it`s like to lose a child I lost my Daughter at the age of 7 and it seems like it just happened yesterday, Theres not a day I dont think of Jessica and wish she was still here with me but I know Arnulfo is taking care of her up in Heaven, They say it gets easier but in reality it really doesnt, I just keep telling myself God needed her more than I did and she went to be one of his special Angels. My Thoughts and Prayers will be with you Daily and may you all find Comfort knowing that, God Bless You All, Diane ( Lakeland Fla)

I am going to OCCUPY Tuesday. Tuesday, I am going to occupy a small street in Lakeland, Florida. I will be joined by thousands of people I do not know. I will be joined by people from all over the country. They will come because it is what we do for each other. We take care of our own.

We are going to OCCUPY Tuesday. We will be there rain, snow, or shine. ... ... We will never enter Victory Church. We will line the streets for miles. We will have drums. They will sound serious, they will sound dignified, they will sound solemn. We will have bagpipes. They will sound the ode to sadness that we all know so well. We will have helicopters. They will fly in a formation. They will fly neat, orderly, and with purpose. There will be one bird missing. We will have motorcycles. We will have a lot of motorcycles. They will be loud. We will hear them coming from a miles away. They will send chills up our backs. We will have goose bumps. We will have tears.

We are going to OCCUPY Tuesday. We will stand shoulder to shoulder in a sea of blue. We will salute, immaculate white gloves touching the shiny black brim. We will be unified in purpose. We will not need a sign to explain our occupation. We will stand with one voice, on mission. We will not ask for your money, your sympathy, or understanding. We will not complain about why we are here. It was our choice to raise the right hand. We took this job fully knowing the hazards of the profession.

I am going to OCCUPY Tuesday. I want to say goodbye to someone that I never met. I want to say goodbye to a hero. I want to say goodbye to a colleague. I want to say goodbye to a brother. I want to say goodbye to a son.

This is how we say goodbye.

RIP Police Officer Arnulfo Crispin

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

OFFICER ARNULFO “CRISPY” CRISPIN
He knew what he would be in life when he was just five years old
A police officer he'd say when he was asked he said it loud and proud and bold
He worked so hard to reach his goal he thought that it was cool
To make good grades, do the right thing, and do his best in school
He carried with him a spirit that let anyone around him know
That he was the example they could follow anywhere they might go
He never looked for trouble and he always avoided strife
So nothing could get in the way of where he was going in life
To him, his family was everything that didn't take much to see
His family support is what helped him become just what he wanted to be
His friends were not just his friends they were family too
He spent countless hours counseling them on “what was the right thing to do”
Although he had no children he mentored many along the way
Trying to make sure none of them would ever go astray
When it came to the world of soccer let there be no doubt
That was the extended family that he was all about
As he grew up and moved on in life law enforcement he still wanted to be
He said it was a dream that was alive and would become a reality
Although he knew the dangers he felt he just belonged there
He said he did not want a job he wanted a career
Officer Arnulfo Crispin, so very young, lived his dream come true
While he reached out and touched the lives of everyone he knew
What a legacy to leave behind as he enters the golden gates
A legacy of the hundreds he's touched with all his loving traits
We will keep his memory alive as we hold our memories of him so dear
Go now, keep smiling and rest in peace as you watch out for us down here
If you knew “Nulfo” like his friends or “Crispy” like his comrades in blue
You have to know that you are blessed, just because of who you knew

-Heidi Shank-Bridges & Kimberly Causby-

We see them only as traffic stops,
We do not call them friends, just cops.
We pray we never have a chance meeting,
We never pass along a greeting.

But they are so much more than this,
They simply do not see the world as bliss.
But they look into the corners of our deepest fear,
They walk the beat, they dry a tear.

They bring a message to our home,
When all is not well, and we are alone.
They come to us, no matter the need,
Handle the problem, complete the deed.

They lay their personal feelings aside,
They do their job, they have great pride.
And if one should fall among life's thing,
The badge they wear, turns into wings.

A wonderful hero will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. May you walk the golden streets of Heaven and watch over your loved ones. R.I.P. Officer Arnulfo Crispin

December 21, 2011
Officer Crispin

On December 18th you left for your duty to patrol our streets
So that we could sleep.
Even though you knew the danger you could meet.

Your job was to serve and protect and that is what you do.
It makes no difference if your uniform is brown, green, or blue.
What you represent has earned our respect for you.

You will never be forgotten for your sacrifice that night.
You put your life on the line for what you knew was not right.

You took this guy on because it was your duty to make us safe. We will never be able to “THANK YOU” for the sacrifice you made to protect. But for the ones you left behind we should show a greater respect.

The people of this community relied on you to protect them and though they may have never showed it. But for you we have a huge respect.

The morals and values that you represent were chosen by God and he is proud of you and will show you when you get home.

As the wife of a cop I sometimes wonder how brave he can be protecting you and me. I can't imagine what he faces each day. I ask how was your day and he just replies same ole same ole. He knows that I would not understand anyway. I believe it's just his way of protecting me again of all the bad that happened today.

If a cop comes to your rescue today know that he or she belongs to someone and they love them. Please don't take them away.

Officer Crispin, Thank you for protecting me and my family that day

MAY YOU REST IN PEACE
December 21, 2011

I wish I had words to comfort and sustain your family in your grief, but I know there are none that will take away any pain you are feeling now. My heart aches for your family and my arms long to embrace you.

December 21, 2011

Fellow LEOs,
December 21, 2011
a poem for ofc. crispin:

i never have met you
for you work so far away
but we share a common goal
and wear a uniform every day

they said that you were young
so very full of life
they said so young in fact
that you had no children or wife

you always knew today
could be the day you'd pay the price
but no one ever anticipated
you'd make the sacrifice

my heart is heavy for you
as is everyone's
and for your family too
for a loss like this, they've felt none

you've passed on now
and left so many behind
but fear not, young friend,
those here keep you in mind

we will pick up where you left off
and make you proud of us each
but right now stand with god
and forever find your peace

The LEO family of the Pasco County Sheriff's Office is here for you. Thank you for your sacrifice.
