Rest in peace, Mr. McKee. Though you and I are in an ocean apart, I can still feel the connection between us since I met your son, Craig. He takes after you in your confidence, kindness, and sense of humor...... It is really my pleasure to meet such a brilliant teacher. Although you are walking away from us, I believe that your spirit will live forever. ????......
R.I.P. Mr. McKee, You are remembered fondly by my family. Now you are walking with and watching over one of my children in heaven. I will see you again someday. Miss you....

Oh how I wish that I could find the words to tell Pam and the family how much I will miss Leo. Leo was among the first to help us start our market in Plant City. Leo was one of those dealers that you were always glad to see. Sending a photo that I took at the Webster Flea Mkt. in the year of 2000.

Greetings! I just wanted to share with you how special your father was. I Met Leo while shopping with my husband at the USA flea market .I was 7 months pregnant with my first son David in 1989. I bought 2 bags of oranges for 5 dollars. He looked at my big belly and said here's an extra bag for the baby! I switched from usa flea market for my fruits and vegetables to Webster and was pleasantly surprised to see your father there. 23 years later and many, many conversations, mainly about his kids especially Craig, Patricia, and Pamela and of course his hard rock experiences as well as some very funny private experiences... lol! I will miss his vivacious spirit sooo o o much! He made a good difference! God's gracious peace to all.
They sure broke the mold when they made Leo. He gave me many years of fleamarket companionship and lots of laughs. Sharp as a tack that fellow was. I will think of him often and will miss him dearly.

Dear Ms. McKee I'm so sorry for your loss the pain of losing someone is something you should never have to go through alone and we are all here for you when you need someone to just listen to you even if its just to rub your back and tell you its going to be okay... I was told when I lost someone very close to me that when you look up at that biggest star in the sky is an opening where your loved one is shinning down to let us know they are happy and they may have left us physically but never will they leave us spiritually and what I'm saying is all though its times like these that we wish heaven wasn't so far away that he is always there with you and will never leave you or anyone of you siblings sides<3 everything will get better Ms. McKee
Jackie, Craig, Pam, Trish, Kath & Becky and to his grandchildren. Alway remember how proud your dad was of his family and how much he loved you all. To you Jackie, you always held a special place in your heart for Leo and I know he for you... Keeping you all in our prayers, as we always do. All our love and hugs... RIP. I will always remember your kindness and seeing you at the markets. My condolences to your family. You will be missed.
"Au revoir, mon pere"
i never googled my father
until he started to die
when furtive online searches
began to catch my eye
his public information
was readily for sale
and all the while his fading glance
grew ever more so pale
the words we whispered via skype
could not hide our emotion
as we drew closer nearer still
in spite of that great ocean
"Turn her into the wind," he cried,
his Navy days invoking.
"Tell God make haste to come for me
and stop this cosmic joking!"
too soon his wishes came to pass
and off he went a-sailing
enraptured by familiar love
across the miles unfailing
so google your father while you can
let not a sunset fall
to phone or write or text or tweet
and share the moments...all
Rest in peace, Uncle Leo. Always remember your warm happy smile.
Craig and Family,
Sorry to read the passing of your father. My thoughts are with you.
