Dr. Brarrett delivered my first child on May 23rd ,1982, I was very very sick & even had intensive care time...with the help of Dr. Barrett & the Lord above I came through. He was such a good Dr. & will be truly missed by the medical community. Both my family & myself will forever be greatful to Dr. Barrett.

My daughter was one of those babies nearly 10 years ago....I was shocked to hear and prayers to his family. Cancer shows no mercy. It was a blessing he was able to do all he did in his lifetime.

Dr. Barrett delivered our daughter in 2006. In 10 short months, he left a lasting impression in my heart. May his family find peace in the work he has done and the hearts and lives he touched every single day. I will forever be greatful for those 10 months and can only imagine the sorrow and pain experienced by those who have known him a lifetime.

I met Dr. Barrett 12 years ago in nursing school, and can remember thinking "Wow, if I ever decide to have a child, this wonderful man will be my doctor." That dream came true a few years ago, and what a blessing he was to my family! I can still see him telling me at my post-partum visit that he would be delighted to deliver my next child, and I still cherish the picture I took of him and my son. My prayer for all of those who are grieving is that through your faith you can have the hope of one day again seeing him.

Dr. Barrett delivered my second son and aside from our primary OB, he was my choice to deliver our son. We were not disappointed. What an incredible man, he was not only a great doctor from a medical standpoint, but what personality and comfort he brought into the room. My delivery was only my second meeting with him and yet it felt as though we had known him for years. He will be missed tremendously I am sure! Our thoughts and prayers to the family and close friends dealing with this great loss.

In 1998 I met Dr. Barrett. I went to see him for a second opinion. He confirmed with tears in his eyes that yes I had miscarried. He was so compassionate to me. I got pregnant in 2003 with my son. Dr. Barrett was my doctor and was there to deliver my miracle baby. I will never forget his compassion and generosity. The world is a better place for him being here. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. He will be greatly missed. I am thankful for the opportunity to have known Dr. Barrett

May God's peace of love and comfort be with all of Dr. Barrett's family. He followed the pregnancy of my daughter Madelyn up until he got sick. If it wasn't for his intuition and caring spirit, my daughter and
I would not have survived my very high risk pregnancy. I wish he could have met Maddie, he would have been so proud. Thank you, Dr. Barrett for all you have done for me and my family. You have touched so many lives. I hope there is a big bag of peanut butter m&m's waiting up there for you! :) your family will be in our thoughts and prayers for comfort and peace during this difficult time.
