My sympathies to your family at this sad time. Although I didn't know you girls I was very fond of your mom as I am one of her Sandberg cousins. May God bless you all.

Goodbyes hurt the most when a story is not finished and the book is closed forever. Karole's chapter is one we will keep alive as one of our favorite Edgehill memories. What a great lady she was ~ with a special, one-of-a-kind personality that always kept you on your toes. We have known Karole as a neighbor but more importantly as a friend since 1985. Whether biking (on her Cat Lady bike while hanging on to her noodle), walking (which was never slow) or driving (while proudly displaying her Green Bay Packers stickers), she always stopped to say hi. The best times we shared were spent chatting, laughing, comparing opinions (whether in agreement or disagreeing) about politics, the changing world we live in, importance of family (her boys and especially her grandchildren), what stores are worth shopping in and which ones to avoid at all costs, and our differences in who we root for in football. Go Packers! (Maybe next year!)
We will miss you dear friend and hope you are at peace now and enjoying being reunited with your beloved Leroy and Pat.
With our deepest sympathy and a heartfelt loss in our community, we offer our thoughts and prayers to John and family as you all mourn Karole's passing. Godspeed dear friend, until we meet again.
