I met Mr. Roberts about four years ago as his server at his favorite restaurant. As a fellow teacher, Mr. Roberts and his wife opened themselves up to me as a friend. I got to know him, Sarah,Tracy, and Bernardo as well as I could. He struck me as a great man who always spoke of his children , all of which became great people. It was my pleasure to know him and his family as well as a server could. I wish his wife and children tremendous joy that his life impacted so many, even his server.

Dear Aunt Sarah, Tracy, Casey, and Robby,
I want you to know that my heart is with you now and always. I have such great memories from going to Grandmother's house in Shelby and your visits to Mom and Dad When we we were all younger. Uncle Paul was one in a million, and I could not have asked for a more special Uncle. I love you all very much,
Liz

Coach Roberts was the first football coach at newly consolidated Crest High School in 1967. With very few experienced players, he was unable to win a game in his year here; but he always ran the program in a first-class manner and laid the groundwork for the program to evolve into a perennial state powerhouse. He was a good coach and a fine man, and I wish we could have kept him here.

Thank you Coach for giving so many of us at Frostproof High so much. You will and are remembered fondly by those of us who had the privilege of knowing you.
