HART, 79
AUBURNDALE - Mr. Gilbert Austin Hart, 79, of Auburndale, FL passed away on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 due to an accident.
Born Oct. 23, 1933 in Anderson, IN he moved to Auburndale in 1996 from Rockledge, FL. He was a member of The Church on the Hill in Dundee, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was retired from General Dynamics at Cape Canaveral where he worked 39 years as an electronics technician.
He is survived by: his wife of 57 years, Faye Douglas Hart; two sons, Steven Austin Hart of Auburndale and Jeffrey Allen Hart of Cocoa; a daughter, Karen Kaye Walrath of Oviedo; five grandchildren, Jason Hart, Tyler Hart, Rachel Hart, Ashley Clouser, and Georgia Walrath Plourde; and eight great grandchildren, Christopher, Aracely, Nicholas, Sienna, Tyler, Jr. Ella Mia, Jayden and Jameson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a private graveside service for the family at Auburndale Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm till 2:00pm, Sat., March 2, 2013 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial donation in his name to the Shriners Hospital for Children ( http://www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org/ )

I am saddened to hear of the loss of another good friend from the past.
I worked with Gil for over 25 years. He was a good person and always gave his all. I am sorry we lost contact after my retirement but Gil will always be remembered.
