RICHARD ALLEN KRAYNAK 'PAP'
LAKELAND - Richard Allen Kraynak 'Pap' 70, passed away due to cancer Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at home surrounded by loved ones.
Rich was born August 21, 1947 to Martin and Margaret in Indiana, Pennsylvania. He served in the Army 101st Airborne defending his country in Vietnam. He retired from Sears as Home Improvement Manager after 25 years. He moved from Ohio to Florida with his wife, Barbara in 1990 and operated Richies Lawncare for 26 years. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Kraynak, children, Susan Power (Jacque), Charles Oliver (Julie), John Oliver, grandchildren, Joshua, Zachary (Breanna), William (Kera), Nicholas and Dylan, Greatgrandchildren, Oakleigh and Olivia, his brothers, Bruce, David and Gary, and sister, Rita Brockway (Steve). There are many friends and kids that he took and loved as his own. He loved and was loved by all and will be missed.
Visitation will be at 9:30 am February 8, 2018 and funeral mass will be at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 210 West Lemon Street, Lakeland, FL 33805. He will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family for expenses.

I miss Richard's friendly greetings at the office, or about town, and our long conversations at Walmart. He was always a pleasure to be around.
