I am so happy to have been able to visit Uncle Ralph and Aunt Marion in the beautiful facility they lived in; we had a lovely and large family dinner in the dining room there which I am so grateful for. I didn't know them well but they were always important to me since Ralph was my mother's brother.

I have many great memories of Ralph. Our (Elsie & JD Smith) prayers are with your family. Here is a man who lived until he died. He was a soft spoken servant in every way. Heaven is a little nearer now. I learned of his death from Ronnie Williams.

I knew Ralph and Marion for years when I was at Mt. Carmel Christian Church. Marion and Ralph were the sweetest people in the world. A loving couple that always welcomed you into their home. I was dating their son, Steve, and they treated me just like a daughter. There are so many memories. God Bless you and your family during this time of sympathy.

I remember the very special; the good times we spent with Uncle Ralph and the boys and the Princes, too, on summer afternoons in New York. We always considered ourselves lucky to have such a great and caring uncle and mentor.

Mr. and Mrs. Leavitt were amazing people. They made me feel a part of the family from the first time I met them. They were responsible for giving me a wonderful brother-in-law who has made my life interesting for 43 years now. Mr. Leavitt will be missed but Praise God he is with Mrs. Leavitt and my mom now. And thankfully there is not bedtime in heaven because they are having a blast catching up!

Ralph or Dad as I called him was a special individual and man. He was the person who fashioned my life, was my hero in life and set the example of the person that I am today. He became thru the years, besides my wife, my best friend and while taking care of he and my mom, I got to become his best friend. What a blessing! I miss him immensely, but my joy is two fold...1) that I was able to share my heart with him in his final moments & be at his bedside; and 2) that I know that he is not lost to me; I know where to find him for always and will see him again one day. Mom and he are reunited after 9 long years apart...Congratulations dad!!!
