Richard was my first Company Commander when I became a 2LT in the Military police Corps. He has always assisted me throughout my career. He was a key presenter at our annual Lakeland HS JROTC awards banquet. He was always with a laugh and a joke and I will miss him as a friend. God Bless you Richard!!

Richard was one of the kindest person I met. He welcomed me to the neighborhood when I moved there in 2010. He shared his kindness with my grandchildren, he even provided them with a backyard play set which they loved. Richard will be greatly missed. Even in his sickness he was still very pleasant. My prayers and condolence for the family. I will truly miss my neighbor.
