Love and miss you Eric. You and Josh both..
March 19, 2014
To the entire family of Eric A. Davila. There are no words for the loss of your son, brother, cousin, any friend of Eric. May God be with each and everyone of you as the loss of Eric is unimagiable. I cannot imagine what the entire family is going through and as the days pass without his presence. But somehow may God almighty, Jesus Christ somehow comfort the entire family espically Mr. and Mrs. Davila. I, Armando Rodriguez from Sharyland met Eric where he worked at, Peter Piper Pizza. My wife and I had taken our grandson Aiden Alex, one Friday evening for pizza and to play games. At the end, my grandson wanted a certain toy but we didn't have enough tickets to get it. As I was telling my grandson he couldn't have it, I noticed Eric as he was listening to me and my grandson. With Eric's big smile, thus captivated me that he was such a polite young man. Eric saw my grandson and immediately he didn't waste any time and gave my grandson the toy he wanted without any problem. My grandson in return with his smile and Eric's smile just made both their day of such joy and gladness. I introduced myself as well as Eric did. I thanked him for such a great personality he has for working at Peter Piper Pizza but moreso for making children very happy and putting a smile on their faces. My grandson quickly said to Eric a big thank you as well. As we departed, Eric continued seeing us with his big smile and very content. When I saw in the newspaper that Eric had an accident and had passed away, I was completely in shock and sadden. I have seen many parents over my years of teaching high school in loosing a son or daughter and myself the loss of many students. It is unreal, devastating and just heart breaking. But somehow God needed Eric to be an angel in heaven.Im sure nobody will ever forget Eric for his personality, his help, his friendliness, his great attitude and most of all his big smile that just captivated people. May Eric be with God in heaven, God bless his soul, may he rest in peace. To the entire Davila family, God Bless you all and may the Lord Jesus Christ comfort you somehow. Eric A. Davila will forever live in our hearts and in memories.
