I was privileged to have Mr Ornelas for a Spanish teacher at Vernon 9th in Hgn.
Always smiling and had a lot of patience with us kids that didn't always come to class prepared.
God bless you and your family and rest in peace.

Maestro Ornelas: Que en paz descanse y siempre lo he tenido en mis recuerdos como un amante de las letras y cultura hispana.
To the Ornelas Family-
I don't have the pleasure of knowing you, but I am one of Mr. Ornelas' former students. I remember him dearly and often thought about him and where he might be, not knowing he was still in the Valley. Looking back to the days at Vernon Jr. High, back in 1973-74, I remember how positive he always was and that beautiful smile that he always had on his face as he greeted us as the door when we entered his classroom. He had many found memories of places he visited in Mexico and he loved to share his stories with his students. He was a true inspiration to all his students and will be dearly missed.
May Jehovah God grant you the endurance and fortitude to deal with your loss. My most sincere condolences to you.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family during this sad time.
Wishing the Family comfort in the loss of your loved one and praying that the loving and warm memories of Mr. Ornelas will continue to envelop you with strength and comfort.
With Sincere Sympathy,
Delia Garcia and Family
