What a blessing to have had Tio Joe in our lives. He always had a smile to share and could bring life to any party! I still remember the privilege of interviewing him for a high school project I did about WWII. It was very difficult for him but he was very kind and gracious. As a teenager, I gained an understanding of the sacrifices he and all of our veterans have made for our freedom...such courage! May my Tio rest eternally in the arms of Jesus and our Blessed Mother and may God grant peace to all of his family and friends.

I am grateful for the life of Mr. Guerra. Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.

Sorry for the loss of Joe. I knew from our days in Wyandotte County Kansas. I served as Chief Deputy Sheriff and was also in the VFW. He was a super person for me to have know. God bless him and all the family.

My Husband Manuel and I knew Jose very well from our Kansas City days .Little did I know I would run into him at the dances in the Rio Grande Valley. We all sure had a lot of fun in our old age and he will be missed by all who knew him .
