Dad, it's been 8 months since you've been gone and I still miss you so much. I wonder how long it'll be before the tears no longer come. My only consolation is that I know you're in heaven with Baby George, Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Charlie, Aunt Mary Frances, Aunt Virginia, Uncle Henry, Dan, "Bole", Arturo, your grandparents and other loved ones. Above all, you're in the arms of our Lord.
The triplets turned 12 yesterday on your 8 month anniversary. They know they were blessed to have had you in their lives. Your memory will live in their hearts forever.

I remember when Martin used to stop and visit with his aunt Anita Sandoval in Pharr, and drink a cup of coffee with her. He always brought joy to he heart.
My condolences to all the Johnston Family.
As the family of Martin Johnston lay him to rest, I am flooded with the memories of being in their home and laughing and playing as a child, always feeling welcomed like a part of the family, embraced with the humor and love and vibrance that is a part of all their lives, and having the friendship that has meant so much to me over the years. I am filled me with such a tremendous feeling of loss. However, we know, that this life is but an eye blink and that our real home awaits. Mourning is for those left behind.

Rest In Peace Mr. Johnston. You will always be remembered SJH Rebcat 1976---Frank Salinas
Mr. Johnston was a great neighbor. He always greeted us with a smile and a friendly wave, even in his final months when he would stroll by in his wheelchair. He was my father's teacher in the 1950's, and Daddy often shared nice stories about him whenever we drove past his house. In fact, tonight my husband and I were sharing our own "Mr. Johnston" stories with one of our sons when I turned on the computer and read the sad news. Cynthia Drive will miss him dearly. Please accept our deepest condolences. Yvonne Cardenas-Guajardo
My condolences to the Johnston Family. I always admired Mr. Johnston. He was bigger than life and stood tall among tall men. Surely he was a role model to many of us and a remarkable father to his daughters. May he rest peacefully in the arms of our Lord.
He was well respected by students from all walks of life. He always had words of encouragement When I see the movie Courageous, I think of men like Mr. Johnston. Godly, kind, family oriented, & encouraged everyone to be a better person. He will be dearly missed. Prayers to his family & loved ones.

It is with much sadness that we wish Mr Martin Johnston a special place in Heaven. I first met Mr Johnston when I was knee high. He was so tall, I compared him to John Wayne. As family friends, my father knew and respected Martin. My parents always said that Martin and Lile had beautiful love story? Our family shares in the mourning of family's loss. We know that his love will forever remain in their hearts.Condolences from Garcia Family, Diana, Gus, Dora, Max Jr., Rick and loving mother, Oralia, (Lala)
