Always looked forward to seeing to Aunt Katie and hearing about her and Uncle Jerry's travel adventures on their way between FL and MI! She was a wonderful, funny, caring woman and happy memories of her will live on in my heart forever. Love you Aunt Katie!

Late one night when Katie and Jerry were visiting us in SC, I noticed a delicious smell coming from the kitchen. Katie and Ken were baking worstedbroodjes (sausage rolls). They had such fun making Grandma Ott's Dutch recipe! I think Katie did all of the work and Ken stood by laughing and talking.....a precious memory!!!

I am so thankful for the special times shared with Katie mostly when cousin Pat was visiting. Katie's sweet generous smile was always present and her stories always valued. I will miss those times meeting at Frankenmuth and sharing lunch with her, Jerry, Pat and family all gathered around. She had a way of making everyone feel important. Katie's life is an inspiration to all of love and caring.
