I am so sorry to hear of David's loss. He was a Great Guy. When he was able to drive he would visit us at the drive thru at firstBank and we would all look forward to his visit.
He will be missed by all of us.

My condolences go out to the Sommerville family. My memories of Dave Sommerville are of his voice on WFYC am radio. He was the radio voice of Gratiot County. I remember his B&W Co-op Farm Report on the radio and I believe he also announced the Alma varsityFootball home games. I also remember cleaning his office at WFYC 3 times a week because my dad used to commercially clean the radio station. I always liked going into the radio station and seeing the radio announcer on live and the sound of the Associated Press machine typing vigorously the most current news from around the world. I also remember Dave's voice on many local radio commercials. He sure was a believer and doer in giving to the community. You all must be proud of such a person who gave so much. Not to mention serving in World War II of which I have been an avid admirer of those who served in such a critical time of our nation's and world history. Sincerely, Carlos Fuentes
