Condolences on the death of your husband, father and grandfather. I first "met" Dave when I attended Alma College; he had an afternoon program called "Drifting and Dreaming" which I listened to after lunch. Later we met through Alma High School where I found him to be a caring booster to everything Alma, but he was especially kind to high school athletics. RIP

Mary Lou & family, we were so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Mom just called from Florida to tell me. He was one of my VERY favorite people in this world. I have great memories of him, especially of the jokes he & dad use to play on their buddies. Like the time dad helped Dave pull a stump out of your yard & they "dumped the stump" on Bud's driveway or front porch ( can't remember which). What a couple of nuts! Dave was so good for my soul when dad passed, I will always be thankful to him for that. My birthdays were always "announced" on the radio ( to my mortification) as he couldn't forget mine, we shared the same birthday. I pray that he & dad are together again, laughing about old times. Our deepest sympathy.
