She was a great teacher I had her in 80 to 81
I just got home from the services in St. Louis. It was so nice to see every one after all these years. I will always remember the patience your mother had with her students in Home Ec. class. It wasn't easy teaching us how to cook and sew. We were a demanding bunch. Just remember, no one is truly gone that is remembered by family and friends.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time.
Our heart & prayers go out to the Paton family in the loss of their beloved mother Betty. She was a wonderful woman and mother. She touched so many lives, and I feel so fortunate to have known her. She followed her faith throughout her life. God bless all of you, and help you thru the days ahead. Pete & Denise Smith
I want to extend my condolences to the Paton family, Jim, Pat, Mike, Dan, Jon, Ann and Jana and to their families for the loss of their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was truly a beautiful, warm and loving woman and she will be missed by all who loved her. Love to all of you!
She was a wondeful "MMOM" to all of the neighborhood kids growing up! Always so supportive and involved. Thanks for those wonderful memories from the late 1960's when as a kid I lived at 101 Euclid ST. Curt L. Hansen
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Paton family. Well know lady i had for 4yrs in high school and FHA. You will be missed very much.
So sorry to hear this. She was very well loved as a teacher here in St.Louis. I know I will never forget her. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
The world has lost a wonderful teacher, mother, grandmother and lady. My success in life I would like to think is because of her teaching and kindness. She truly will be missed.
Mrs Paton was one of the best teachers St. Louis & I ever had. She had a big heart & was kind to everyone. Even when us kids were behaving badly she would scold us but never hold it against us. She taught us how to cook, sew, deal with babies & was ahead of her time with teaching us about the birds & the bees. She even had a kitchen sick tore apart for me in the Home Ec. room because I had lost my ring that I had taken off because we were making pie crust. She was as upset as I was. I have never forgotten that. Her kindness & her smile will never be forgotten . My thoughts & prayers are with you all.
