Anna st. that was for my father & Carl & a lot of their friends growing up...
I am so very sorry for your loss, my father Tom Sutton is going to be very crushed when I tell him. I know the two of them had a lot of wonderful times together on Mulberrry St., and in school and out of school too! I met Carl myself with my young daughter Andrea in maybe 1988 or early 1989 on Mulberry St, he was wonderful and very kind, we clicked like he and my father did that day... I"m very sorry for your loss. I wish my father would of been in contact with him, I know he thought of him often...
So very sorry to hear of Carl's passing. Carl was an amazing guy who always made those he knew feel so special.
There were many funny HS stories such as the SR pranks, of which Carl was a part! A great guy for sure!
God's Blessings and prayers for you all at such a difficult time... Our loss here on earth, but Heaven's gain for sure!

RIP Carl, I am sure there is a baseball team for you to join in heaven.
Alison, Andria, Joel, and Barberi family...The Wickham/Drake family is so saddened to learn of Carl's passing. He will always be remembered as one of the first to greet us with a warm, genuine, smile when we moved to Greenville, and our children enrolled at Cedar Crest. His smile, sense of humor, acceptance of all, and genuine concern for all children will never be forgotten! We feel blessed to know Carl. Please know that our prayers, and deepest sympathy are with you all. We wish we were there to hug you all in person. Rest in peace, Carl! Cindy, Bob, Kelly, Jeff, and David.
RIP Sir and condolences to the family.
Joe and Marriane, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Carl. Sending you both a hug. I have such great memories of your family. Kay Knight Wantland
I send my heartfelt condolences to Carl's family, especially Allison, Mary Ann, and Joe. I've worked under many principals in my years in education, but Carl was the best. He was truly a visionary and knew how to lead and encourage his staff. The students loved him. The world is a little bit dimmer place without Carl.
I was crushed to read of the passing of my long time friend Carl. I will miss keeping up on FB. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
RIP my friend.
I have very fond memories of Carl from when we were children. There is one that is quite vivid. Carl had obtained a box from a refrigerator and we buried it to make an underground fort. He was my friend despite the fact I was younger than Carl.
Although I have not had contact for at least 40 years, I'm sure he was a real 'people person'.
My condolences to his family, including his brother Joe.
So sorry to hear about Carl, super nice person!!
I am so sadden to read about the passing of Carl. Carl was a friend, classmate for years, and a fellow Veteran. One of the nicest guys I ever met. RIP Carl! Prayers for the family. Nels
