My codolences to the Heitman family. This world will be colder, less humorous and much lonlier without Helen's cheerful presence in it. But even though we couldn't keep her here with us forever, she will always remain in our hearts.
Scott, very sorry to hear this news. Your Mom was a great lady, always full of life. Take care.
Sorry to hear of Aunt Helen's passing. If we were in MI. we would be up there. We just got to Florida but our prayers are with you all. Keith & Dorothy Denslow.
The picture of Mrs. Heitman is exactly how I remember her...always with a smile! May she rest in peace.
Mrs Heitman as we called her was a wonderful teacher. I know a lot of people from Beal City feel very blessed to have had her for a teacher.
I'm sure our good lord has a very special place for her in heaven.
Condolences to the Heitman family. Helen was such a positive influence to many people. She will be missed.
I loved Mrs. Heitman. She was one of the kindest people I've ever met. I only had her for one or two classes in high school but went back to her for writing help many times -- even after I graduated high school! She was always willing to help and gave me better editing suggestions than anyone. (I am just learning from her obituary about her journalism background! Now it all makes sense). She is one of those teachers who everyone remembers fondly when we share memories. She was a very special lady and wonderful teacher.

Helen was one of my favorite teachers at Beal City High School. She was a very neat lady, a free spirit, and always ready for anything. I learned much from her. May God Bless and may she rest in peace.
Helen was one of my very favorites. Loved her for her sense of humor and her many talents which she shared so generously. My sincere sympathy, Eric, Bill, Bob, and Scott.
Mrs Heitman was such a wonderful teacher and kind person. She made everyone feel special in her classes. God bless the Heitman family.
Dear Scott and family, Sorry to hear of your Mothers passing. Sending my thoughts and prays to you and the family. Gloria (Brown) MacLean
