Keeler, Raymond E.; age 85, of Riverdale; passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014 at his home. Raymond was born June 8, 1928 in Montcalm County the son of Dewey and Gretchen Keeler. He married Viola Leiter on November 5, 1955. Raymond served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Edmore VFW. He worked for Lobdell-Emery as a superintendent; Keeler’s AFC and was a self-employed appliance repairman. Raymond enjoyed fishing and loved being with family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Judy (Rick) Parsons of Tampa, FL, Mike (Becky) Keeler of Riverdale; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren; also siblings, Steve (Sandy) Keeler, Larry (Ione) Keeler, Mert Keeler, Ernestine (Don) Wolf, Al (Ula) Keeler; and many nieces and nephews. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Viola in 2004; grandson, Michael Keeler; and sister, Betty Thompson. Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 16, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Riverdale with his brother-in-law, Pastor Don Wolf officiating. Interment will be in Riverdale Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m .at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. I'm sorry I didn't hear about Ray's passing in time to attend visitation. Ray and Vi were very important to my husband, Chuck, and me. Chuck was living with them when we met. Ray was a wonderful man and he will be missed. May God be with you at this difficult time.

My Dad & I both worked with Ray in Alma, also growing up we lived on the same road about 1 1/2 miles where Ray & his brothers & sisters were raised. Agreat family in deed. God bless all of your family during this time in your lives.
