Johnnie Mae Booker departed this life on May 3, 2014 at the age of 82.Wife of the late Jesse J Booker. Daughter of the late John Jackson and Delphia Lambert. Mother of Wallace Walker, Beverly A. Weaver, Robert A. Walker, Jeremiah (Rosalind) Walker and the late Janice M. Walker. Sister of James Jackson, Gloria Lewis, and the late O.C. Jackson, Ethel Johnson, Joseph Jackson, and John Jackson. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastors, Officers, and members of Providence Baptist Church are invited to attend the funeral service at 11:00 AM on May 10, 2014 at Providence Baptist Church, 11509 Jefferson Hwy. River Ridge, LA. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Interment: Providence Cemetery. Arrangements by Rhodes Funeral Home.
