Louisa Koenig Bessire

FREMONT: Louisa Koenig Bessire, 94, currently of Rutherford House in Fremont, passed away November 12, 2012.

She was born May 20, 1918 to William and Clara Koenig in Cleveland, Ohio, and raised in Fremont, Ohio. Louisa retired from the Euclid, Ohio, Board of Education in 1979 and moved to Florida with her husband Donald (Gene) Bessire, who passed away there in 1993.

She is survived by a son William (Robin) Bessire of Fremont and a daughter Barbara (Thomas) Wesbecher of Troy, Ohio; grandchildren Erik (Stephanie) Kessler, Erin Brooks, Aaron (Sarah) Wesbecher, Jared (Alissa) Wesbecher, Kimberly (William) Fleischer, and Amy Lybrook. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; one sibling, Lee (Caryl) Koenig survives.

Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Leonarda (Hank) Smith and Anne (Jim) Jacobi; grandson, Robert Fuller.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012; 11:00 a.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Heartland Hospice, 905 W. State St, Fremont, OH 43420.
