Alta L. Tucker, 76, of Elizabethtown, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014, at her daughter Donna's home with family and friends around her.
Alta worked at Kent Records factory in Elizabethtown for many years until it closed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James (Jack) Tucker; her parents, Damon Shack and Lucille Goodman; two brothers, Elvie Goodman and J.S. Goodman; and a sister, Jean Bishop.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna (Jay) Rust of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Connie Covington of Elizabethtown; a son, Greg Davis of Elizabethtown; a brother, Carroll (Ann) Goodman of Louisville; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Scott Kerr officiating. Burial follows in Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
