So sorry for your loss, May God comfort you.
One of the best people I ever knew. Mary always tried to do the patriotic thing for her Command and Country. She will be sadly missed. Fair winds and following seas.
What can I add to the words that have already been said? So sorry for the family's loss. I just wish we could have kept in touch through the years.
I remember Mary as a warrior and patriot fighting for the ships and sailors she served so passionately. For the family, please accept my sincere condolences.

A wonderful lady and a true professional. We were stationed together at OCS, NPS and NAVSEA. The mention of her name always brightened my day. Fair winds and following seas, Shipmate!
What I remember best are the infectious smile and honest friendliness. I can't think of anyone she didn't see good in. Thank you for being a part of this journey called life.
Oh my how time slips by and people who once an important part of our lives drifts from our everyday thoughts! Mary was a beautiful person inside and out and I know brought much happiness to my brother, Larry, also taken too soon by cancer. The NHHS class has lost a favorite daughter. To Mary's family, we share in your loss as Mary was the epitome of class, friendship and the benchmark for academic excellence. She made us all think with not only her points of view but a genuine positive attitude that anything could be accomplished. Mary was a friend to all who listened more than she spoke. But when she did, everyone followed her lead. We are proud and honored to call Mary a friend and classmate. And we share in your grief.

The Navy has lost a true patriot. Fair winds and following seas, shipmate.
An outstanding naval officer, and most importantly, a wonderful person that I will always remember!! With deepest condolences.
I taught with Mary and always admired her. She was a gifted, energetic teacher and it was a loss to the profession the day she left, although I know that teaching's loss was the Navy's gain. She was a wonderful woman. The last day of school, the last year we taught together, when we knew that several of us were going in different directions, she said, "I miss you already." And now we'll miss her forever. Rest in peace, Mary.
A good friend, superb shipmate and Naval Officer who will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate to have known her.
A very intelligent lady who overcame tough obstacles in life. She had much more to give and will be missed. My deepest condolences
