Mary Reynolds Gardner Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Hawk Reynolds Gardner, 83, of Upton, passed away Saturday March 22, 2014, at Sunrise Manor in Hodgenville.

She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Louisville Bedding Co. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward Reynolds and Louis R. Gardner; parents, Edward and Ethel Reynolds Hawk; one brother, Leroy Hawk; one granddaughter, Laura Riggs; three sons-in-law, Billy Hughes, Paul T. Cottrell and Jerry W. Riggs; and one brother-in-law, George Highbaugh.

She is survived by five daughters, Brenda (Norman) Cottrell of Bonnieville, Diana Cottrell of Upton, Rita (Kenny) Fulkerson of Sonora, Roslyn (Larry) Fulkerson of Upton, and Angela (Tom) Cole of Munfordville; a brother, Marvin Hawk of Elizabethtown; a sister, Jane Highbaugh of Bonnieville; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral is at 1 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2014, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Upton with Bro. Jack Srygler officiating. Burial follows in Mt. Pisgah Church Cemetery.

Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at Manakee Funeral Home in Upton.
