Funeral services for Peggy Lee Roberson Defee, 74, of Sterlington, LA will be at 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with Rev. Jerry Fletcher and Rev. Jarod Hawthorne officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.
Mrs. Defee was born on January 30, 1938 in Marion, LA and passed away on October 11, 2012 in Monroe, LA. She was the owner of Defee's Grocery and Trailer Park in Sterlington and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband: G. W. Defee; parents: Rufus and Alma Roberson; brothers: Rufus Roberson, Jr., J. B. Roberson, and Donald "Punkin" Roberson and a sister: Betty Turner.
She is survived by her brothers: Bobby Roberson and wife, Helen and Dewey Roberson and wife, Gaye; nieces: Lucy Wood and husband, Albert, Ann Rowland and husband, Lynn, Sue Rainwater and husband, Art and Donna Lee; nephews: Terry Roberson and wife, Penny, Johnny Roberson and wife, Belinda, Wayne Roberson and wife, Donna, Gene Roberson and wife, Kathy, Dicky Roberson and wife, Pam, David Roberson, Donny Roberson and Jimbo Acree.
Pallbearers will be: Heath Wood, Mitch Tucker, Logan Roberson, Kevin Rowland, Buddy Hollis, and Mack Anderson.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Larry Parks, Johnny Roberson, Gene Roberson, Carl Long, and Austin Jans.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.
