Wanda Faye Greer
Funeral services for Wanda Faye Greer, 77, of Rayville will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Rayville First United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Robert Stroud officiating. Burial will follow in the Greer Cemetery, Rayville under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.
Mrs. Wanda was born February 23, 1936 to Bergie and Celestal Blackmon and passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013 in Rayville, LA.
Mrs. Greer was a member of the Zebedee Baptist Church of Rayville. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and cooking for her family.
Mrs. Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, C.G. Greer; and daughter, Linda Fay Greer; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Sue Greer; Granddaughter, Tiffany Sue Ann Greer; sisters, Geneva Faucheaux, Christine Holbrook, and Tommie Greer; and brother, Wallace Blackmon.
Survivors include her children, Charles Greer and wife, Rosey of Oak Ridge and Jimmy Dale Greer and wife, Karen of Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Christy Greer Fortenberry and husband, Brandon, Brandon Dale Greer, Jessica Greer Matson and husband, Warren, and Patrick Conley; great grandchildren, Preslee and Brady Fortenberry and Bryson Conley; sisters, Ann Key of Gainesville, GA and Mary Goochie of Orange, TX;
Pallbearers are Brandon Fortenberry, Warren Matson, Patrick Conley, Brooks Greer, Mitchell Greer, and Mike Morgan.
Visitation is 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM, Tuesday at Rayville First United Pentecostal Church.
